” We are nature”.

The statement beautifully encapsulates the notion that every being, from the towering trees to the tiniest insects, are all threads woven into the intricate tapestry of life on this planet. It is to resonate with the message of inter-connectedness and equality.

The emphasis on needs over wants is crucial in a world often driven by insatiable desires. Recognizing the abundance nature provides for our basic needs, like food, water, and shelter, shifts our focus towards appreciating what we already have instead of chasing endless consumption.

The idea of life as a constant learning process through negotiation, implementation, and skill-building resonates with all of us. It’s a reminder that we are not merely spectators in this grand play of existence, but active participants, constantly shaping our world and ourselves through our interactions with nature and other beings.

The concept of sharing what we have and living in harmony with all life forms is essential for a sustainable and peaceful future. It challenges us to move beyond self-interest and embrace a sense of shared responsibility for the well-being of our planet and all its inhabitants.

Overall, your message is a powerful call for a more conscious and harmonious way of living. It reminds us that we are not separate from nature, but an integral part of it. By embracing this inter-connectedness, respecting the inherent needs of all beings, and living in accordance with natural laws, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Making some thing with our hands with love and passion from things around help one to reflect on our own relationship with nature and strive to live a life that is more in tune with its rhythms and principles.

In this 10 day workshop we tried to learn different skills, techniques using hands, exploring materials working as a community to make a piece of cloth from raw cotton.

Most of the participants selected for the workshop are the students who donot get to do much with their handskills. The expectation being, this 10 day journey is going to make us behave little sensible and more responsible the way we negotiate with things around, slowdown a bit and be a better ‘being’.
